History

Ayesha Group is a well known industrial group of Pakistan.   The Group started its textile operations in 1968 when Ayesha Spinning Mills was incorporated. Since then, Ayesha Group has grown 8-fold to 5 textile spinning mills comprising of 300,000 spindles, a leather tannery and leather shoe factory. The installed spindle capacity put the group amongst the largest yarn spinning groups in Pakistan.  The leather units of the group are also substantial in size by which operate by the name of EPCT Private Limited. EPCT private limited has grown to become the largest leather manufacture and shoe factory in Pakistan.  The annual turnover of the group for the financial year 2005-06 has touched Rs. 8.00 Billion out of which Rs. 3 Billion are exports. The Group employs approximately 6000 employees in its various units.

The EPCT recently started its own retail outlets for local marketing of shoes in Pakistan. Names like Carrefour, Andre are on their client list. The sox unit is the latest venture in the group’s textile division in a bid to move to value addition. Ayesha Group has adopted policy of constant modernization of machinery to maintain quality standards. Our spinning factories have been awarded ISO 9001 by TUV, our slogan is "Our Commitment - Total Quality".
